Watch this video produced by Ohio State Highway Patrol. It captures OVI arrests made within a twenty-four hour period. Over the Memorial Day weekend state troopers made one arrest per hour with a total of 219 arrests on May 25, 2008.
On July 4, 2007 on "Ohio roads, six of the 10 traffic deaths were alcohol-related and troopers made 294 arrests for suspected drunken driving."
